Class helps Hailey anglers have tight lines

Fly tying is an activity that combines artistry with form and function, and the anglers who take part in a Hailey workshop will walk away with a fly they have made by hand.

Hailey Town Center will be the venue for a fly tying class hosted by 5B Anglers, which is a registered 501 ( c ) (3) not for profit organization. Tickets are $15.00 each, and they need to be reserved ahead of time.

The session , which is part of the larger Mayfly Tying Series, will be focused on creating the six pack emerger pattern. The attendees can pick up new skills and strengthen existing ones, and all of the materials needed will be provided. Everyone can meet new friends who also enjoy angling, and anyone who would like to BYOB is invited to do so. Thanks to support from Loon, Renetti and Griffin Enterprises, there will be visors for each attendee to use.

Hobby focused workshops or classes may attract both newbies and experienced attendees, making them an opportunity for everyone to share their knowledge and interest. Organizers often distribute handouts to the attendees, and these can be prepared by area Stationery printers along with promotional Pens and other swag.

Hailey fishers who would like to cast off with a fly they have made themselves are welcome to participate in this activity, which will take place on April 1st. It will run from 6:00 pm until 7:00 pm.
