Birding offers an opportunity to experience nature firsthand, and a Hailey short course will give beginners the basic skills they need to get started.
Anyone can enjoy the benefits of birding, and this beginner-friendly workshop will include outdoor learning. Those who have bird field guides or binoculars are asked to bring them along. Set for the morning hours, everyone taking part is advised to dress for the weather and be ready to learn.
Participants will learn how to spot birds in the wild, and the use of binoculars will be covered. It will be focused on local species as the attendees get some field experience at Draper Wetland. To ensure everyone gets personalized attention, only a set number of attendees can be accommodated, and questions will be encouraged.
The meet up point for the session will be the Draper Preserve Pavilion. While it is being offered free of charge, anyone who would like to take part needs to register in advance.
Birding, foraging, and other nature-based activities have grown in popularity in recent years. Field guides and other publications to distribute during these events can be prepared by Stationery printers.
Wednesday, May 13 will help a new crop of Hailey birders hit the ground running. The session will begin at 8:30 am and go on until 10:00 am. Get a Free Quote for Stationery
