The Introduction to Hand Cut Dovetails workshop is set to take place in Davenport this March.
Hosted by the Sound Foundation Woodworking Academy, this training event is designed to train new woodworkers how to create hand cut joints. The academy was originally founded by Mark Luna and often features classes and events for beginners to woodworking who are interested in increasing their building skills and efficiency. The Sound Foundation Workshop Academy also offers classes that center on the construction of specific items such as furniture, cutting boards, and wooden Boxes.
The Introduction to Hand Cut Dovetails workshop will enable a small class of up to four Davenport students to learn what tools, skills, techniques, and work setup they will need to construct their own hand cut dovetail joints to be both aesthetically pleasing and resilient. All of the materials and tools that students will need to participate in the event are provided by the Sound Foundation Woodworking Academy. The organizers of hands-on classes frequently choose flyer printing as an efficient way to post and distribute informative event printouts throughout the community.
Anyone who is interested in woodworking can sign up for the class in advance online at $150 per person. This informative joinery training event is scheduled to proceed on Saturday, March 6 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.
