Food service equipment company relocates to Davenport

Electro Freeze, a manufacturer of food service equipment, is expanding and relocating in Davenport.

Stationery printers are often called upon when such moves are made, as Letterheads, Business Cards, and other corporate materials need to be printed.

The first mix-in blender for the Dairy Queen Blizzard was created by Electro Freeze. The company has been part of community of East Moline since 1945 and now has 169 employees. Its new location will be in the Eastern Iowa Industrial Center on N. Zenith Avenue and will span 300,000 square feet.

This relocation to Davenport is part of Electro Freeze’s commitment to innovation, growth, and partnership with the community. The company president, Victoria Campbell, said that moving to Davenport will enable the company to have a single facility for manufacturing while also expanding its footprint for operations. She added that the move will also enable the company to develop new products, better serve its customers, and continue its expansion in the market around the world.

Mayor Mike Matson expressed his happiness in welcoming Electro Freeze to the city of Davenport. He said that the decision to keep the workforce in the Quad Cities area demonstrates what a thriving area full of opportunities this is.

This new location will enable the company to double its production capacity and add 83 jobs in the future. Its engineering facilities, technical service, and customer service capabilities will also be expanded.
