Davenport venue to host holiday pajama party and movie
The 19th annual Polar Express Pajama Party will be returning to the Putnam Museum and Science Center in Davenport this week.
In addition to the traditional screening of “The Polar Express,” this year the event will feature face painting, a hot chocolate bar, a scavenger hunt through the exhibits in the dark, and goodie bags that attendees can take home that include a keepsake ornament. The main attraction will be live reindeer.
Ticket prices for the event that do not include the movie are $10. Prices for tickets that do include the movie are $16. There are also VIP tickets at $35, which include all activities, along with priority seating for the movie, and additional items such as a lanyard, bell, T-shirt, and a wristband. Ultimate VIP tickets are $60 and include the perks of the VIP tickets as well a small popcorn combo, a pin, and a polar plush.
Residents can be informed of such festive and unique events through the use of flyer printing.
The pajama party runs from this Thursday, December 18 through Sunday, December 21. The party will be on Thursday, December 18 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.; Friday, December 19 and Saturday, December 20 from 2:00 to 9:00 p.m.; and Sunday, December 21 from noon to 7:00 p.m. The live reindeer will be at the party on Saturday, December 20.
