Icestravaganza will be hosted by the Downtown Davenport Partnership (DDP) later this month in downtown Davenport at Beiderbecke Drive and the Freight House.
This event is free and presented by TBK Bank and Rubberstamps.net and will feature a display of ice carvings. This is a weekend event that will enable attendees to enjoy live carving demonstrations. People can walk through the ice sculptures at the Freight House or view them from their vehicles on Beiderbecke Drive.
Such one-of-a-kind winter events are often promoted throughout a city and neighboring communities with poster printing.
The event opens at 5:00 p.m. on a Friday with an indoor Farmers Market at the Freight House until 7:30 p.m. and a warming station with free hot cocoa compliments of The Family Credit Union. The event will open on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. with the Farmers Market open all day until 5:00 p.m. and free hot cocoa from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. From 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. there will be After Glow Party featuring live demonstrations of ice carvings with black lights in the background, a light show, and live mix by DJ Buddha.
On Sunday the event will open again at 10:00 a.m. with the Farmers Market open until 3:00 p.m., free hot chocolate in the afternoon, and the closing of the event at 10:00 p.m.
Icestravaganza will be from Friday January 17 through Sunday January 19.
