Sandy Springs is producing the Know & Grow Small Business Education Series in order to show local business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs what it takes to start a new business in the area.
The series is the result of a partnership the U.S Small Business Administration has formed with Sandy Springs. Rusty Paul, the Mayor of Sandy Springs, spoke of his excitement at the partnership and how it reflects the understanding and prioritization the city gives the business community.
The series will start with a webinar that will air on May 24 at 10:00 am. The show will feature representatives coming from the Service Corps of Retired Executives, the University of Georgia Small Business Development and the SBA. People who wish to join the webinar can register online.
The SBA will be tasked with providing speakers for workshops in the city. The organization will provide a local representative to liaise with the city. Business professionals often make use of business card printing.
Businesses in Sandy Springs will receive invites to appear at events sponsored by SBA and for training sessions. The city will also let SBA members know about business development services in the city as they become available. Close to 4,500 businesses are registered in Sandy Springs and many of them are expected to benefit from this series.
