An evening of magic is on the way for residents of Sandy Springs living with a physical or developmental disability, with a two-hour celebration on offer at a local venue.
City Springs Theatre will roll out the red carpet for ticketholders for the Superstar Dance. It will take a page from adaptive recreation, and it is intended for attendees of high school age.
Those on the guestlist can dance the evening away, and everyone will walk away feeling like a prom king or queen. Food and other refreshments will be served to the crowd, and souvenir photos will be snapped.
While the dress code may be semi-formal, everyone is encouraged to wear what feels most comfortable, and as an additional perk, they can have their hair styled and make-up applied, free of charge. Everyone who plans on attending will need to register and will be asked to indicate their participation role.
A special affair like this often includes custom decor to help build a festive atmosphere. A banner printing company can offer a range of options, including ones that may be used over and over.
This evening of dancing, making friends, and just having a great time will be held on Saturday, March 20. The doors will open at 6:00 pm, and the Sandy Springs Recreation and Parks registration page includes a sign-up link.
