Sandy Springs families are invited to wrap up summer with a day that may be a real memory maker.
Volunteer Sandy Springs has announced the date for its Family Fun Day, and it will encourage everyone to get up and get active. It will take place in the morning at City Garden in Sandy Springs, and is on offer thanks to several community service organizations.
Attendees at the function will find an assortment of activities, with options for all ages. The STEM experiences will provide a chance to make some hands-on discoveries and get involved at some make-and-take crafting stations. A DJ will supply the tunes, and there will be other entertainers wowing the crowd as well. Face painting, a bubble machine, and oversized outdoor games are on the agenda, and several nonprofit groups from Sandy Springs will be setting up booths and displays.
Community festivals often include space for charities and service organizations to set up shop. Budget-friendly promotional Pens and other swag to hand out to the crowd can be ordered from a Print shop, which may be able to accept orders online, in person, or by phone.
Sandy Springs will be bidding another summer a fond farewell with this special event set for this Saturday, August 29. The gates are scheduled to open at 8:30 am and the event wraps up at 12:00 noon.
