Heritage Sandy Springs recently announced the lineup for its 2019 Concerts by the Springs, an outdoor concert series held during the spring and summer. There is one concert per month from May through September, and this is the 23rd year for the events.
The fun kicks off with The Return, a Beatles tribute band, who appear on May 12. They come complete with boots, suits, and mop tops, and a playlist of some of the biggest hits of the 1960s.
On June 9, Saved by the Band will appear, singing rock from the ‘80s, ‘90s, and more. They will be playing recognized songs by artists like AC/DC, Talking Heads, Weezer, and Whitney Houston.
July 14 brings Departure, a band whose name is a take-off on the name of the powerhouse group they emulate, Journey. The band’s five members have been together since the group formed.
August 11, it’s the turn of the Atlanta Brass Cats. This 10-piece band plays the hits of Stevie Wonder, Paul McCartney, Chicago, and many others.
The final performance of the year is Band X, which has gained the nickname of ‘Atlanta’s favorite party band’. They will be playing current hits, as well as songs from the 1970s, ‘80s, and ‘90s. Many of the members of this group have toured with major artists.
The concerts are held on the Lawn at Heritage Green, from 7:00 pm until 8:30 pm. Banner printing gives organizers of events like this a great tool for developing decorations.
