Sandy Springs to sparkle with winter lights

Sparkle Sandy Springs will return to the city for its fifth annual run in December. The event will kick off the holiday season, and locals are welcome to attend.

The feature of the event is Sparkle Village, a display of lit-up miniature homes. Several businesses and organizations will have their own decorated homes. Even after the event is over, the village will remain for the rest of the month.

There will also be activities and spectacles planned for the day. A parade will move through Mount Vernon Road, which spectators can view from the street. Guests can also get some holiday shopping, as there will be a gift market available near where the parade will move through. Sellers might have special promotions, which are usually advertised with the help of flyer printing.

Organizers are also readying other holiday traditions like the lighting of the menorah and Christmas tree. While all this is happening, visitors can buy a warm meal from food trucks around the venue. There will be several options available, ranging from Mediterranean cuisine to pub-style food.

Sparkle Sandy Springs will take place on Sunday, December 5. Roads around the venue will close at 3:00 PM, and festivities will officially start at 4:00 PM. The event can be found at the cross between Mount Vernon Road and Roswell Road.
