Sandy Springs will soon see the curtain go up for a special movie night planned for the community, and the audience will be treated to fun before the show begins.
The heritage Amphitheatre Lawn will be transformed into an outdoor cinema for the Movie by Moonlight installment planned for early October. Admission will be free, and there is tiered lawn seating so everyone will be able to see the picture.
The event will begin with an on-screen trivia competition, and the concession stands will open at the same time. Once the sun goes down, the movie will begin on the 30-foot screen. The title selected for the occasion, “Halloweentown,” is rated PG and has a runtime of about one and a half hours. Beer, wine, “moonlight mocktails,” and soda will all be available for purchase.
So they can take in the show in comfort, everyone is reminded to bring along a blanket or folding lawn chair. While registered service animals will be permitted, attendees are asked to leave other pets at home.
A poster printing company can craft marketing materials that let the public know when and where a special activity like this is taking place in their home community.
Movies by Moonlight will add a touch of fun to fall in Sandy Springs this Friday, October 4. It is being presented by the City of Sandy Springs.
