Sandy Springs schedules electronic recycling day
Recycling technology keeps it out of the landfill, and a Sandy Springs fundraiser will do so while raising funds for a local educational initiative.
North Springs High School will soon see Sandy Springs Education Force host its recycling fundraiser, and a wide assortment of items may be dropped off. This service will be available for a donation of $25, and it will be open for three hours.
Personnel from eWaste ePlanet will be gathering the materials, and they will be able to wipe any personal data from electronic devices. Laptops, tablets, mouses, keyboards, and other items may all be dropped off, and do not need to be in working condition. An additional fee may be charged for some of the items, and information about this will be provided. To help maximize the impact of the day, those who plan on taking advantage of the offer may also make a donation of new school supplies. These will be distributed to classrooms through the Sandy Springs Education Force’s Teachers Supply Closet program.
A fundraiser that is well marketed may prove to be a big success. A poster printing company will be pleased to support not-for-profit groups by providing them with a range of budget-friendly marketing options.
This chance to lend Mother Nature a helping hand will be running from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm on Saturday, February 1. The venue can be found at 7447 Roswell Road.
