The Fulton County Library System offers the public opportunities to learn, have fun and get involved in their community, and its Sandy Springs branch has a special event in the works for early March.
The venue will be celebrating the Lunar New year with a performance organized by the Formosa Association of Student Cultural Ambassadors (FASCA). It will be suitable for patrons of all ages, and advance registration is not needed.
The attendees in the cultural experience will be invited to make some Lunar New Year crafts, and a shadow puppet performance will be staged. A traditional Lion Dance will wow the crowd, and there will be lots of other fun as well. It will be held in the late afternoon, and will run for one hour.
A performance or other live demonstration provides an opportunity for the public to learn more about a country’s music, dance and other aspects of its culture. Programs that provide more information can be prepared by a flyer printing company, and they may include full color photos and other graphics.
