New sandwich outlet set for Sandy

Sandy Springs Print companies will be helping another food place with its marketing campaigns shortly, after yet another eatery was named for the fast-growing Sandy Springs Gateway complex.

Urban Cookhouse, which is based out of Birmingham, is joining up with the likes of the Honey Café at the site on the Roswell Road. It is slated that the Cookhouse will be opening its doors in time for the spring this year.

It is understood that an order-at-the-counter facility will be set up, serving a host of sandwiches and snack-related foods for the locals.

As well as sandwiches, the fast food outlet will serve up salads and wraps, 'Big Green Egg' hot plates loaded with grilled and smoked meats, appetizers, and a selection of desserts.

The owner of Urban Cookhouse, Will Gillespie, explained the no-nonsense approach, saying:

“It’s simple, traditional, American cooking.”

Forward-looking feasters in Sandy Springs can look ahead to enjoying specialty offerings such as chipotle-braised pork and the signature BALT - a traditional BLT with added avocado.

The restaurant will feature places for 95 diners inside the 4,000 sq. ft room space , while there will also be room for about 30 diners outside, warmed by fire pits.

A bar will keep the beer flowing through the day too, while there will be special set dinners designed for families throughout the week.
