The move, which has yet to be confirmed by the firm formed out of the merger of Unisource Worldwide and Xpedx, is understood to see the HQ open in Northpark 400. Veritiv is expected to take up residence on the top three floors of the building.
When confirmed, printing companies in Sandy Springs will no doubt be rushing to help the firm with its new business card printing runs, and to organize its Stationery.
It will be an exciting move for the city and the Atlanta region as a whole, with the firm having only started trading on the New York Stock Exchange last month. The choice to open up in Sandy Springs also confirms a recent statement released by Veritiv.
A spokesman for the firm told the Cincinnati Business Courier last month:
“Our intentions are to have Atlanta serve as the corporate headquarters after the integration is complete.”
The expected move came as the Atlanta-based developer Cousins Properties Inc. placed a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
