Local NGO organizes fundraising gala

Leadership Sandy Springs plans to celebrate its 35th year of existence with a fundraising gala this month.

The gala will be planned with a theme based on “Old Hollywood Glam.” The event will feature dancing, live music, and popular casino games including poker, roulette, and blackjack. The casino games will be purely for fun and no money will be won or lost. There will also be a silent auction to raise funds for charity. Printing services could be used to organize a silent auction.

Pam Rosenthal, one of the co-chairs for the gala committee, alongside Janon Redmond, has been promoting the gala, and commented that glamorous “Old Hollywood” or cocktail attire are encouraged.

Leadership Sandy Springs is a non-governmental organization (NGO). Its members include professionals who organize and lead programs designed to educate the community and benefit local people. One of the organization’s previous projects was Volunteer for a Better Sandy Springs, which renovated public parks and school grounds. The organization also assists with projects organized by the Community Assistance Center and other NGOs.

The fundraising gala to celebrate Leadership Sandy Springs’ 35th Anniversary will be held on Saturday, February 25 at Studio 2 Theater on the City Springs campus. Tickets are on sale for $100. The gala will run from 7:00 pm to 11:00 pm. Tickets can be found here.
