A food festival plans to celebrate the diverse food culture of Sandy Springs through a variety of food and beverage tastings, live music, and interactive activities.
The event, named Food That Rocks, provides unlimited food tastings, desserts, and drinks. This includes an assortment of wines, beers, and cocktails. The setup lets people discover different tastes in Sandy Springs all in one night. Foods from local restaurants and bakeries will be presented as well.
Entertainment at the event will be handled by Oxford Soul, bringing a lively and festive feel to the event. Live shows often feature poster printing and other printing merchandise for sale.
There will also be cooking displays and activities where people can get involved. These are set up to teach attendees new cooking methods, giving them a better understanding of the food they are trying out.
The Food That Rocks event has links to local charities too, working together with groups like the Community Assistance Center and Second Helpings Atlanta.
The event is restricted to those who are 21 years old or older. Tickets can be purchased for VIP access as well as general admission. Those who have a VIP ticket can enter the event early and enjoy special experiences not covered by general admission.
Food That Rocks is scheduled for Thursday, June 6 at City Springs in Sandy Springs, starting at 6:00 pm.
