Kennesaw State offers courses in Sandy Springs

Kennesaw State plans to make it easier for people to get their masters degrees, by bringing classes to Sandy Springs.

Kennesaw State University recently announced that its Coles College of Business will be offering courses in Sandy Springs, for students pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA). This is the third location where students can study for an MBA; the first is the Kennesaw campus itself, and the other is the Cobb Galleria.

The courses are the result of a partnership among Sandy Springs, Kennesaw State University, and the Sandy Springs Perimeter Chamber of Commerce. The alliance has made it possible for the university to bring education designed to enhance their careers to business people in Atlanta and its suburbs, according to Robin Cheramie of Coles College.

The university has designed its MBA program specifically for working professionals, with students taking two courses per semester on average, which requires a commitment of two nights per week, one for each course. Spreading out the courses in this way allows students to continue working and still receive their MBAs in about 17 months The program to be offered in Sandy Springs is identical to that offered at the other two sites. Graphic design is used to design materials for courses like this.

The City Springs complex in downtown Sandy Springs will be the location for the MBA courses, which will start in the fall.
