Family Fun Run.
The local run is raising funds underpinning the Education Force's mission, which according to its website is aimed at:
“…inspiring and supporting all Sandy Springs public school students to graduate and pursue productive lives beyond high school by providing educational and enrichment programs.”
The run is due to take place at Lake Forest Elementary School. Officially printed race participant T-Shirts may still be available for entrants on the day, while there will be awards presented across all age groups to the winning 12 participants.
Local entertainment will also be available throughout the morning registrations, with a number of booths from local companies sponsoring the event, likely also with the help of print stores in Sandy Springs.
Parking will be available at Lake Forest Elementary School, located at 5920 Sandy Springs Circle NE, Sandy Springs, GA 30319, on the day.
The run is taking place this next Saturday, November 8, while check-in starting from 7:00 am. The actually 5K run will get started at 8:00 am, with the Family Fun Run, ran over the course of 1K, will itself begin at 9:00 am.
