Automotive giant opens up shop in Sandy Springs

One of the largest retail and service firms in the U.S. automotive industry has set up camp in Sandy Springs.

Asbury Automotive Group will move into the Sandy Springs Ford dealership, which has operated under the Ford banner for three decades years. As recently as 2011, the dealership took the Ford President's Award for Superior Customer Service and Sales Excellence.

Being the greatest honor that the car manufacturing giant offers its dealerships, many will see the move as a surprising one. However, the boss of Asbury said the firm is committed to upholding the high levels of service.

In a press release announcing the acquisition of the store, the President and CEO of Asbury Automotive Group, Craig Monaghan, said:

"We're looking forward to carrying on the superior quality of service and sales the customers of Sandy Spring Ford have come to expect. We welcome these fine employees to the Asbury family and are excited about our future in Sandy Springs."

With poster printing likely to advertise the new ownership, the move sees the group open up its 16th dealership across Georgia. The Fortune 500 firm now operates over 80 dealerships countrywide.

Sandy Springs Ford, located at 7555 Roswell Rd, will be rebranded to the Nalley Ford Sandy Springs. The move will likely require local Print companies to help with the new Stationery printing.
