Canada Fest, a celebration of Atlanta’s Canadian community, will come to the city next month. This event will be Canada Fest’s 15th anniversary, and it will happen at the O’Reilly’s Public House in Sandy Springs.
Attendees can expect different festivities planned for the day. The event will start with street hockey games, which are a Canadian pastime. Hockey games will run from noon until 5:00 PM and are for children under 12. Children attending can also partake in art and craft activities at Canada Fest.
O’Reilly’s is also planning a Canadian-inspired food menu and live music for all guests. Performers will be Canadian musicians from the local area. Events like these often use flyer printing to provide additional details on event activities.
Representatives from the Government of Canada will be at the event as well. They will answer any questions guests have regarding Canada and its culture. Locals can take this chance to expand their knowledge of the US’s northern neighbor.
Canada Fest will take place on October 9, with festivities starting at noon. Presale tickets are $20, while day-of tickets will be $25. Anyone with presale tickets will also be automatically entered into a raffle for roundtrip tickets to any city in North America. A part of the proceeds will go towards St. Baldrick’s Foundation. Attendees can find O’Reilly’s at 227 Sandy Springs Pl NE Suite 416.
