Science fiction film festival to come to Norcross area

The City of Peachtree Corners will be presenting the Atlanta Sci-Fi Film Festival (ASCIFFF) for 2023. Residents of nearby Norcross interested in science fiction may not want to miss this unique event.

Featured this year will be the best science-fiction films created by the talented artists and filmmakers from around the state and all over the world. There will also be a competition for cash prizes in the categories of animated science-fiction, general live action, and Afrofuturism. There will be live entertainment, trivia, and family-friendly films on the outdoor stage at the Town Green. Attendees can take advantage of the downtown area of the city with a variety of shops and over 15 restaurants.

The festival will have several interesting and fun programs. There will be a panel discussion on artificial intelligence and its future impact, not only on the film industry but also on the entertainment and arts industry. Another panel discussion will be on the world of movie poster design that will feature three of the most talented art directors in the industry. There will also be an advance screening of “The Space Race!” produced by National Geographic.
