A Hispanic Business Outreach Event will be hosted by the city of Norcross next month.
This event is designed to connect Hispanic small business owners and entrepreneurs with valuable community partners and growth resources. The goal is to support both established and aspiring business owners and bring together organizations that can help businesses to launch, grow, and thrive. There will be no cost to attend the event.
Presented at the event will be available grants, city programs, educational opportunities, small business resources, and avenues to access funding and capital. There will also be representatives from organizations that provide support services for businesses, opportunities for networking, and the ability to explore prospects for collaboration.
Mayor of Norcross, Craig Newton, noted that this will help forge relationships between Hispanic business communities in the area and point them in the right direction when it comes to business resources.
He added that small businesses are important to the cultural richness and economic vitality of the community. Local Print shops can contribute to such events by creating Brochures and Booklets in both English and Spanish that attendees can take away with them from the event.
The event will be held on Thursday, April 23 from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm and will take place at the Norcross Cultural Arts and Community Center on College Street NW.
