The city of Norcross will be hosting Pedal Norcross next month.
This will include a ride of 2.8 miles through historic Norcross, a riding area for children to practice, booths from vendors and non-profit organizations, and a stretch before the ride with Rosemary from Aum Sweet Home. There will be a water break at Cultivation Brewery halfway through the route. Contributions to the Walmart Gift List will enable the giving of a new bike to the winners of the Bike Art Contest.
Sponsors of the event are Amazon, GoGeorgia, and Aztec Cycles from Stone Mountain, who are making possible the winning of the grand prize, which is an electric bike. The event will also provide free rentals of bicycles and helmets, snacks and refreshments, and giveaways.
Local Print shops can create Flyers and Posters to encourage residents and those in neighboring communities to participate in such fun and sustainable events.
Pedal Norcross will begin at 2:00 p.m. with checking in and recycling and bicycle tune-ups by Bearing Bike Works. At 3:00 p.m. there will be a welcome message and the announcement of the winners of the Bike Art Contest. The pre-ride stretch by Aum Sweet Home will be a half-hour later. The Bike Ride will begin at City Hall at 4:00 p.m. and end at City Hall at 4:30 p.m. Announcements of the prize winners will be at 5:00 p.m. with the event ending at 6:00 p.m.
Pedal Norcross will be on Saturday, October 18 in the downtown area.Get a Free Quote for Flyers Get a Free Quote for Posters Get a Free Quote for Print
