Norcross to host British celebration
The Atlantic British Car Fayre will be coming to downtown Norcross next month.
This is an annual event that celebrates British culture. There will be over 400 British classic cars and motorcycles on display, and businesses in the downtown will be offering products, beverages, and food with a British theme.
Local print shops can spread excitement about such events by crafting vibrant flyers and eye-catching materials to highlight their attractions and unique offerings.
British Charity Takeaway boxes can now be ordered. These are tea boxes to add to the British experience of the day. Each box includes an assortment of scones, sandwiches, treats, and a Yorkshire tea bag, all of which can be enjoyed while walking through the show. These boxes are made possible by The Daughters of the British Empire and Taste of Britain. The boxes are $35 each, the proceeds of which benefit the Alzheimer’s Association of Georgia.
The entertainment for the day will include WhozRolling, a tribute band from the area that plays the music of The Stones, The Who, and other legendary British groups. There will also be the Atholl Highlanders Pipes and Drums from Stone Mountain, and The Return, a Beatles tribute band that plays throughout Georgia and Florida.
This event will be from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm on Saturday, September 6. The tea boxes can be picked up that day from noon to 2:30 pm at Skin Alley behind Taste of Britain.
