Norcross celebrates summer with fireworks and concerts
Norcross will be celebrating Independence Day by hosting Red, White and Boom! 2025 at Lillian Webb Park on College Street.
The evening will start with tasty food options, live music, face painting, and other fun activities for the entire family. This will be followed by a fireworks display in shades of red, white, and blue that will light up the sky.
There is no charge for this event which is open to the public. People are encouraged to bring their lawn chairs and blankets so they can enjoy the evening. This celebration will be on Thursday July 3 from 5:00 to 10:00 p.m.
The city will also be holding its Summer Concert Series which is held at Thrasher Park. Next month will feature the C.O.T. Band which hails from Atlanta and is a powerhouse of merengue, jazz, salsa, and Brazilian music. The group promises to have attendees dancing all night to the fusion of Caribbean music and rhythms. This will be on Friday July 18.
Dancing Dream will be the featured performer for August and is an ABBA tribute band that brings the glamor, glitter, and disco music of the 1970s. This concert will be on Friday August 1. Both concerts will be from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m.
Such distinctive summer events are often promoted throughout a city and neighboring communities with poster printing.
