Applications are being accepted by the city of Norcross to fill vacancies on the Norcross Public Arts Commission (NPAC). These openings provide an opportunity to make a meaningful impact, get involved, and help shape the future of the community.
Those who are interested in applying to serve on NPAC need to have experience in culture, the arts, or related creative fields and understand how public art can have both indirect and direct benefits for the community. They should be passionate about community-based cultural programming and public art and be eager to contribute their talents to promote the visibility and accessibility of the arts in Norcross. Skills which applicants should have include experience with government or non-profit organizations, prior experience as a board member, and connections with local artists or schools as well as the ability to encourage collaboration and nurture connections and experience as a project manager or coordinator.

NPAC has seven members on its board, each serving a three-year term. A minimum of four members need to be residents of the city. NPAC meets in the conference room on the second floor of City Hall on the fourth Tuesday of each month at 6:30 p.m.
Applications are due at 5:00 p.m. on Friday February 20.
