The acquisition of a data center occupied by Flexential in Norcross has been purchased by the company. Flexential had a lease for the space on Northwoods Parkway within Northwoods Business Center that was to expire in August. The purchase price of the data center was $11.8 million.

The data center is one story high and is connected to its network backbone of 100 gigabits per second (Gbps), which is scalable to 400 Gbps. It offers connectivity to support the information technology operations of companies in the area with high capacity and low latency for mission critical applications.
This acquisition enables Flexential to fully own its data center footprint in the Atlanta metropolitan area, The company has two facilities in Douglasville and one facility in Alpharetta.
Flexential now operates 40 data centers in 18 markets across the United States, with over 330 megawatts of capacity that is built and under-development. In October 2024, Morgan Stanley Infrastructure Partners made an equity investment in the company making it a co-investor with GI Partners.
