Several events are being held by the city of Norcross to celebrate the holiday period.
Cities often turn to flyer printing services to inform residents of such seasonal events and activities, together with their dates and locations.
Thrasher Park will be hosting many Norcross holiday traditions, ranging from the Grinch to choirs singing carols, and Santa Claus. Although there will not be a tree lighting, there will be many activities to be enjoyed on Friday, December 2 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.
The month of December will also feature carriage rides throughout the city. Boarding of the rides will take place in front of Taste of Britain. These rides have been provided by Joe Watkins for over 20 years and have become a significant part of the holiday season in the city. The rides are free to the public and will be from 6:30 to 8:30 pm on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from December 2 to December 21.
Santa Claus will also be visiting downtown Norcross this year and will be available for photographs. He will be at Thrasher Park on Friday, December 2 after the celebration, and then at 45 South Street from Friday, December 2 to Wednesday, December 21 on Wednesdays and Fridays from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. He will also be around town every Tuesday to greet residents and visitors.
