Norcross to host art festival

The Norcross Art Splash Festival will be taking place on historic South Peachtree Street in Norcross next month.

Festivals such as this one are often advertised with Flyers distributed throughout the community. Organizers of such events may want to hire local Print shops specializing in flyer printing to promote such events.

There will be 80 artists from across the country who will be displaying their work that will include mixed media, fiber art, paintings, photography, and folk art. There will also be metalwork and jewelry.

A Kidz Zone will be at the parking lot of The Crossing Steakhouse, offering mechanical and inflatable rides, sand art, face painting, and many interactive activities. Artful and delightful entertainers will be roaming through the streets. The cuisine at the festival will feature many international options, kettle corn, ice cream, and fresh squeezed lemonade. There will also be adult beverages for sale.

Sponsors of the festival include the city of Norcross and Explore Gwinnett at the silver level; Georgia Grown, GutterGard, Everdry Waterproofing, and Phoenix Chiropractic at the bronze level; and volunteer sponsors Cable Depot, Crosspointe Realty, Lionheart Theatre Company, and Good Things Home and Garden.

The festival will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Saturday October 1 and from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday October 2. There is no charge for admission.
