Vendors in the Norcross and Atlanta area are collaborating to host a dream wedding in January 2021 worth $75,000. The price will cover all expenses including rings, flowers, and catering.
Those who can apply for this giveaway are essential workers, such as first responders, truck drivers, and others who had to postpone their wedding plans due to recent events. Other criteria include following all related accounts and accounts from vendors on social media and writing why the couple is deserving of this special wedding.
Alan McNaron, whose company Orange Identity will be volunteering its marketing skills, most likely through poster printing and other printing services, said that those who have been on the front lines and have not been afforded many dream moments will have the opportunity to have an event of a lifetime to remember. Courtney Laramore, owner of Miss Milly's Event Rental and Design, developed the idea. As a participant in the event, her shop has an extensive collection of décor from which the winner will be able to select their own theme.
The due date for entry in this wedding giveaway is 12:00 pm on Friday, July 17. From this, 10 finalists will be selected and move to a voting period by the public to determine the winner. The date for wedding is Sunday, January 17.
