New multifamily development opens in Norcross

The Brunswick in Norcross is now open with 193 units, of which over 40% are leased.

The property was the result of a private-public partnerships of Centro Development, Gateway Ventures Real Estate, The Norcross Downtown Development Authority, and the city. It features nine units where tenants have a street-level business and live above their business, a Big Green Egg for grilling, and a swimming pool. Staff at Print shops can create printed materials to promote and advertise such new developments and their amenities.

It is located close to the historic downtown at the corner of Holcomb Bridge Road and Buford Highway, and near many shops and restaurants. A gate from the property opens directly onto the green of Lillian Webb Park and a view of the fountain. Events run by the city take place here throughout the year, ranging from yoga classes to art festivals. A county library is under construction adjacent to the property, with a pedestrian gateway planned to facilitate access from the park to the library.

Matt Mason, Partner with Gateway Ventures, expressed his delight with the project, and excitement that the community has responded so well to leasing units. He added that the goal of the project was to build a high-end multi-family project that is close to downtown and also maintains the historic character of the city.
