Major fundraising celebration to be held by county library

The Gwinnett County Public Library will be holding its second annual gala later this month at the Infinite Energy Center in Duluth. Residents of Norcross will surely want to attend this enjoyable event and fundraiser for the library.

There will be a gourmet dinner, both a silent and a live auction, live entertainment, and dancing throughout the entire evening. Jenn Hobby from 94.1, a radio personality from Atlanta, will be the host for the event. The live entertainment will be provided by Joe Gransden and The Big Band.

Sara Gruen, a New York Times best-selling author, will be the keynote speaker. Her novel “Water for Elephants” was adapted into a major motion picture in 2011 and starred Christoph Waltz, Rob Pattinson, and Reese Witherspoon.

Events such as this one often turn to poster printing services to encourage attendance and raise awareness of fundraising efforts.

Both standard and VIP tickets are available, with VIP tickets including a reception with Sara Gruen 30 minutes before the event, and a signed copy of her latest book “At the Water's Edge.” Proceeds of the ticket sales and auctions will go to support many of the programs of the library, including Career Online High School and Early Childhood Literacy initiatives.

The gala will take place on Saturday, October 19 from 6:30 to 10:30 pm.
