Norcross will be holding its Easter Egg Hunt this weekend.
This is a free event open to the public, where the Easter Bunny will be hiding all his eggs at Rossie Brundage Park. Attendees need to bring their Easter baskets and try to find all the eggs as quickly as possible. The Easter Bunny will be on hand after the hunt for visiting with children and for pictures with families.
There will also be an Easter Egg Hunt for children with special needs, and it is designed to be safe and inclusive for everyone. Sensory-sensitive children will have a tent filled with bean Bags while there will be a scooping nest available for children in wheelchairs.
The Atlanta Field Division of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and the International Association Bomb Technicians and Investigators will also be providing eggs that make a beeping sound for those who are visually impaired. The Georgia Interpreting Services Network and the Spectrum Autism Support Group will also be supporting those who are hearing impaired.
Making residents aware of such unique events is often assisted with the use of poster printing.
The first Easter Egg Hunt will take place this Saturday, April 8, beginning at 10:00 am. The second one will take place later on the same day, beginning at 1:00 pm.
