Winemaking series offers new experience in McDonough

Wine lovers with a DIY spirit are in for a special treat in just over a week’s time, as a winemaking series is planning to welcome residents and visitors in McDonough.

The Make ½ Gallon of Wine workshop, which is being set up by Vino’s Chick Company, will open enrollment online to interested parties who want to learn the ins and outs of making wine at home. The event will bring like-minded individuals together in pursuit of knowledge and enjoyment.

During the workshop, participants will make half a gallon of wine to take home and enjoy with friends and family. The process will use all natural ingredients, with students choosing the fruits and ingredients they want for their finished product. Students will also decide the approximate APV of the wine. Brochure printing is an excellent way to share information about the techniques and steps attendees will use at crafting events like this.

Participating in the workshop requires pre-registration, and participants are encouraged to invite their friends. All supplies are included with the price of registration. Spots are limited, so interested parties are encouraged to make reservations while they remain.

The Winemaking Studio in downtown McDonough will host the workshop on Sunday, June 1, starting at 1:00 PM. Tickets can be purchased online for $94.19, with stemless glasses available for an additional $9.72.
