McDonough provides festive platform for local businesses
A late November event in McDonough is celebrating small companies and the holiday season.
Merry Market on Main is an event which gives artisans a chance to reach a new audience, or reconnect with previous customers. The shoppers can pick up some beautifully handcrafted items for their loved ones while also discovering what the local area has to offer.
The market is also a great way to show support for AMEX’s Small Business Saturday, an initiative which encourages McDonough residents to put money back into their community.
Guests can also take in some live music from local artist Henley Varner as they explore the available products or enjoy a good lunch from a nearby restaurant or vendor.
Kids can have a fun experience of their own by meeting and taking pictures with both Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus, who will be available between the hours of 11:00am and 3:00pm. They will be on the Downtown Square.
The event is hosted by the Main Street McDonough Program. The market is also on the square as well. Attending is free and open to everyone. Flyer printing is a common selection for events being run by the city they’re hosted in. Information on the event is available via allevents.in. The McDonough market will be open to patrons between 10:00am and 4:00pm. The festive event is set for November 29th.
