Senior professional lady golfers tee off near McDonough

The Ladies National Golf Legends return to Eagle’s Landing Country Club in Stockton, near McDonough, next month.

As the official seniors' tour of the LPGA, Legends offers pros and some amateur golfers the chance to play competitively after age 45. Eagles Landing has a tradition of hosting elite female golfers and welcoming the area communities to come see them play.

The tournament is being held in support of the Ladies National Golf Association, an elite amateur golf organization, as well as A Friend’s House, a non-profit group that provides foster care and support for youth in crisis. Since its founding in 1995, more than 3,000 children and teens have been assisted by A Friend’s House, providing them with a refuge from neglect or maltreatment.

The Legends four-day schedule of events will include a practice round, women's and junior golf clinics, a pro-am competition, and 36 holes of stroke play over the final two days.

Golf clubs and their sponsors that host major tournaments such as this often use banner printing as part of their advertising at the course.

The Ladies National Golf Legends tournament will be held from October 6 to 9 at Eagle’s Landing Country Club in Stockton, near McDonough. Tee times for the competitive rounds start at 10:00 am. The event is open to spectators and is free to attend. Further information is available online.
