An online HUD approved workshop for homebuyers is set to occur in McDonough next month.
The NID Atlanta Metro Housing Counseling Agency will host this workshop as a Zoom meeting for homebuyers in Metro Atlanta. The organization frequently offers other similar events and one-on-one sessions that center on the financial aspects of buying and renting homes, including, rental education and counselling, home buying, post-purchase education, and how to resolve mortgage delinquency or default.
This eight-hour virtual event was designed by the NID Atlanta Metro Housing Counseling Agency to assist homebuyers from McDonough and other communities in the area with budgeting and mortgage financing. Those who take part in the workshop will learn how to evaluate their credit and financial health, overcome financial barriers, create a budget, increase savings, and get a mortgage that is affordable. Participants of similar online workshops frequently use printing services to create physical Copies of relevant digital references.
Participants who attend the workshop in full will earn a certificate of completion that will enable them to qualify for Down Payment Assistance (DPA) offered by lenders, county programs, and state programs.
