Floor & Décor is opening its fifth store in the greater Atlanta area and its 49th store nationwide right here in McDonough.

The new store will be managed by Mike Stettler and Jacquelyn Glover-Young will serve as Pro Sales Manager.

Founded in 2000, the store offers a wide selection of tile, stone, and wood flooring in stock, as well as floor-related accessories and tools for installation. According to its website, the Atlanta-based company provides superstore selection at warehouse prices to both homeowners and professional contractors.

New stores require a variety of products supplied by Print companies, including flyer printing services to advertise their products. Other services needed might include letterhead printing, and the availability of new jobs may lead to a local business card printing uptick.

The 73,000 square foot store will employ more than 40 people and will include the in-house design professionals for which Floor & Décor is known. The designers provide complimentary design services, in addition to offering customers with free storage for up to 14 days.

It has been announced that the specialty flooring retailer will be opening its new store in McDonough at 1120 Towne Center Village Drive on January 15. The ceremonial grand opening will take place two days later on Saturday, January 17 with prize giveaways throughout the day and a numerous family-friendly activities.
