Fablux Wigs will be holding a workshop in McDonough to teach people how to use sewing machines to make wigs.
The Fablux Wigs Hands-On 3-Person Closure Class is an event where students are taught how to sew wigs in an intimate learning environment. The lesson is designed for those who do not have experience with sewing machines and are interested in earning supplemental income through wig making. All participants will receive a certificate of completion for the wig course and lunch. Guests will learn about customizing hairlines and how to ensure their closures stay flat.
Fablux Wigs is an organization run by Sylvia, a salon owner from Atlanta who specializes in teaching people how to make glueless wigs. She has held wig-making workshops around the world in destinations like Canada and the United Kingdom. Sylvia also has experience in financial services and has worked with corporations such as Lloyds TSB Treasury and the Royal Bank of Scotland. She was also a project manager for over a decade.
The wig-making lesson will take place on Sunday, October 23 from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. The venue for Sylvia's event will be at the Home2 Suites by Hilton Atlanta, and tickets for the class will cost students $200. Educators who offer activities such as this may use flyer printing to share their courses with nearby consumers.
