The Academy for Advanced Studies in McDonough will hold a charity prom in November to support Connecting Henry, Inc.
The Second Annual Adult Prom for Connecting Henry, Inc. is a program where grownups can enjoy a classic prom experience with live music, while supporting a charitable cause. The entertainment will be provided by The Vintage Vixens, a band of five women who cover hit songs from performers such as The Mamas & the Papas, The Supremes, and Dusty Springfield. Food will be served at the prom, and guests can bid on items during a silent auction.
Connecting Henry, Inc. is a nonprofit organization that is part of the Georgia Family Connection Partnership. The group assists families and children with goal-driven programs. People can help the charity by donating money or items off its wish list, like individually wrapped snacks, cleaning supplies, and notebook paper. People can also donate gift cards to Uber and Lyft. The organization has programs like The Inspire Benevolence Program and The Inspire Employment Program.
The adult prom will be held on Saturday, November 4th from 7:00pm to 10:00pm. General admission to the program is $35 per person. All proceeds for the event will support Connecting Henry, Inc. Nonprofit organizations that put together themed parties like this may use poster printing to design ads help their events attract more people.
