A cupcake decorating class for daughters and their fathers is scheduled to take place in McDonough this June.
Hosted by the organization Raising Be.YOU.tiful Butterflies, this event was created with the intent to showcase and encourage positive bonding experiences between young girls and their fathers or father figures.
Since Dr. Trinise White Foster founded the organization in 2017, Be.YOU.tiful Butterflies has worked with other community organizations and parents to build the confidence and independence of young girls between ages of four to 21 through workshops, mentoring, sports, and classes.
During the father and daughter cupcake decorating class, McDonough locals who attend will be provided with all necessary cupcake decorating items, including a creative variety of sprinkles, glitters, and icing colors. Other perks will include drinks and snacks, music, photos, and games. At the end of the event, all participants will have the chance to take their decorated cupcakes home in a provided container. The organizers of similar classes often use poster printing to spread the word about their events in a concise, attention-grabbing format.
Tickets to this class cost $10 per father and daughter pair, with an extra cost of $5 for each additional child.
The daddy-daughter cupcake decorating class is set to occur on Sunday, June 14 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at 101 Cameron Road.
