The Southern Belle Farm in McDonough will host a food festival to help support A Friend’s House.
The Taste of Henry is a culinary experience where people can eat bite-sized dishes from many food vendors. More than 30 local restaurants will be coming to the food festival, such as Shane’s Rib Shack, The French Market and Tavern, and Ami’s Kitchen. All proceeds earned at the event will help A Friend’s House, an organization that provides a home to children in crisis. The charity gives kids a place to stay while being helped by the Department of Family and Children Services.
Companies can provide extra funding to A Friend’s House by becoming a sponsor for the food fest. Organizations that pay $750 to become a Diner Sponsor will receive recognition on the event’s T-Shirts and social media pages. Business owners who purchase packages that cost $1,000 or more will be given a booth space at the fest. The Presenting Sponsor tier is worth $7,500 and includes perks like being featured on the event’s commercial and 10 adult tickets to the festival.
The event will be on Friday, September 15 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Adult tickets to the fest will cost $30, and senior admission is $25. Children ages 3 to 12 may pay $10 to enter the event. Organizations that coordinate food-themed festivals like this may use flyer printing services to help their programs get more attention from local consumers.
