WSB Radio and Innova Discs will be presenting a charitable tournament in October at The Tracks at McDonough.
The 5th Annual Toys for Tots Tourney is a competitive event where players participate in a disc golfing competition to help provide presents to children throughout Henry County and the greater Atlanta region. There will be several divisions, including Open, Amateur, and Recreational. Player divisions will be divided by gender and age. Only disc golfers who get first place will receive a trophy created by Griffin Trophies & Embroidery.
Several raffle prizes will be available at the event, including a disc golfing lesson with Ezra Robinson and a Huey ride with the Army Aviation Heritage Foundation. Players will receive a single raffle ticket in their pack when registering, though more tickets can be purchased online or during the tourney. Winners do not need to be present to receive their prize. Those in charge of fundraisers like this can market their charitable activity to the community by using printing services to make Flyers.
The disc golfing tournament will take place on Saturday, October 2. Sign-in for the competition will last from 8:00 am to 9:00 am, and the contest will start at 9:25 am. Junior admission to the tourney costs $10 per player, while the adult divisions can be joined for $30. Registering for the Advanced Women category will cost $25 instead.
