McDonough celebrates holiday with event full of color

An early April event will present McDonough children with a morning full of joy and festivities in a tribute to an upcoming holiday.

McDonough’s BEST Easter Egg Hunt is an experience cohosted by both McDonough’s BEST Kids Summer Camp & After School! and AIM Martial Arts. The event is a take on the exciting tradition of looking around a designated space for colorfully decorated Easter eggs.

The organizers of this hunt have sourced over seven thousand colorful eggs to ensure everyone has a full basket once the day is done. Amongst these are a number of special gold eggs, which if found will mean prizes, gift cards, or money for their discoverers.

Reservations are required for participating children in order to manage the crowds. The event is free for all attendees. Access to the registration form is available on the website for The Henry Reporter.

The hunt will be broken up into three groups by age – 0-5, 6-9, and 10-12. The youngest will start off at 9:00am, the middle will follow at 10:00am, and the oldest will close out the hunting at 11:00am. Once the hunting time is up, kids can get their photo taken with the Easter Bunny.

The venue is the AIM Martial Arts studio. Flyer printing is a popular way to promote activities aimed at kids. The hunt is taking place next Saturday, April 5th.
