Chamber to organize women's summit in McDonough

The Henry County Chamber of Commerce will hold a women's conference at Heritage Park in McDonough.

The 2023 Women's EmPOWERment Summit is an event where female professionals can attend panel discussions and hear from successful women. The keynote speakers for the conference will be Pamela Shipley, the president of Kaiser Foundation Health Plan of Georgia, Inc.; and Anna Roach, the Atlanta Regional Commission's executive director. Attendees can also hear from panelists such as Shana Thornton, Andrea Boyd, and Dr. Lily Henson.

Companies can promote themselves during the summit and support the Chamber's event by becoming sponsors. Organizations can pay between $250 to $4,000 to purchase a sponsorship package. The benefits of supporting the conference include being featured in the summit's program book and having logos displayed on the event's website. Businesses will also receive complimentary conference tickets and designated vendor spaces. Companies that become the presenting sponsor for the event can share a one-minute video on the venue's stage.

The women's summit will be on Thursday, March 2 from 8:00 am to 3:30 pm. Tickets to the expo will cost $575, which includes a one-year membership to the Chamber, lunch, and breakfast. Discounts for the convention are available for people who have already joined the Henry County Chamber. Event organizers who promote conferences like this may use flyer printing to advertise the events to local professionals.
