Annual fundraiser for homeless animals returns to McDonough

Street Paws’ annual Spayghetti Dinner event is scheduled to return to McDonough next month for its seventh year.

Originally created in 2012 and established by early 2013, Street Paws has aided animals in need from around McDonough. The organization provides pet owners with education on proper animal care and the importance of regular veterinarian visits.

The organization has also supported the spaying and neutering of pets to reduce the populations that live unwanted on the streets, and supports groups that fight animal cruelty, as well as proper care and rehoming for mistreated and homeless dogs and cats.

The yearly fundraiser will help raise money to support homeless pets. This family friendly event will feature vendor booths, door prizes, a silent auction, and a spaghetti dinner. Poster printing is often used by organizers of such events to create eye-catching advertisements that attract those interested in attending.

Those interested in attending this event can purchase tickets on Street Paws’ website at $10 for adults and $5 for kids. Further options are included to donate to the organization, fire fighters, police, or children in need.

Vendors may apply for a spot at prices ranging from $25 to a VIP position at $2000.

This event is set to take place at the Flippen United Methodist Church on Saturday, March 21 from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
