The All of Us Journey program of the National Alliance for Hispanic Health was recently held in Norcross by Altierus Career College, the National Alliance for Hispanic Health, and the Hispanic Health Coalition of Georgia (HHCGA).
This is a hands-on and traveling exhibit that raises awareness about the program, which is a nationwide data-gathering initiative that hopes to improve health.
Executive Director and Co-Vice Chairman of the HHCGA, Shirley Borghi, commented that she was glad the region was recognized by the National Alliance for Hispanic Health as an important stop for this national tour. The issues faced by those in the Norcross area are data that can help care providers to better educate their patients, the rising rates of chronic diseases, and advocacy for being able to deliver better information and improved health outcomes.
President and CEO of the National Alliance for Hispanic Health, Dr. Jane Delgado, added that the All of Us program plays an important role in the future of health in this country. She noted that it helps to brings communities together in new discoveries, which can lead to earlier identification of diseases, treatments that are more precise, and better health for everyone.
Poster printing can be used for events such as this one to create awareness in the community about efforts towards better health and wellness for everyone.
