The Drake School of Irish Dance, the Historic Norcross Business Association, and the city of Norcross are collaborating on hosting Irish Fest next month.
Such special and unique events are often promoted throughout a city and neighboring communities with poster printing.
There will be dancing, music, balloon twisters, music, food, and other activities to enjoy. Among these will be a traditional Irish meal with food from Keyes to Flavor, and brews from Social Fox Brewing. Social Fox Brewing is a First Award Winning Craft Brewery that offers an entire wall of craft beer, as well as gluten free options. Their brews are sold throughout Gwinnet County and the state of Georgia.
There will also be Irish Afternoon Tea at the Rectory from 1:00 to 3:00pm, hosted by the Taste of Britain, offering a sampling of Irish biscuits and tea. Judith McLoughlin, Irish author and chef, will be a guest speaker at the event and will perform sections of her Books to attendees. There will also be door prizes.
The Drake School of Irish Dance is one of the most prestigious schools of Irish dance in the United States. It was founded by Karl Drake, a native of Dublin, Ireland, in 1990, and has a record of competitive achievements.
